About the role

As a Category Administrator, you will support the Supply Chain team in the management of supplier relationships, stock levels and demand data, ensuring the product is ordered and ultimately delivered at the right time, in the right quantity, at the right price, and with full adherence to stock holding requirements whilst achieving applicable SLA’s.

The role is an office-based role, reporting into our Supply Chain Manager.

Working hours for this role are fixed between 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (for example, 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm), totalling 37.5 hours per week with a daily 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, self motivated, and performance driven.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with supply chain software is a plus.
  • Excellent level of mathematical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to negotiate.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Stock holding levels.
  • Percentage of deliveries on time and in full.
  • Part shipping costs.
  • Average achieved margin against budget.
  • Accuracy of relevant system information.
  • Duties and Responsibilities

  • To raise all approved purchase and out works orders in a timely manner to achieve agreed SLA’s.
  • Accurate and timely completion of supplier order confirmations and sales contract processes.
  • Ensure supplier updates are received on time.
  • Monitor purchase order and works order dates on the system and expedite as required in line with business needs.
  • Maintain accurate product, supplier, and delivery data within our systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, highlighting any exceptions to the relevant stakeholder/s.
  • Providing product options, pricing, and quotations to help support internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and execute cost savings / margin enhancement opportunities.
  • Analyse sales data and supply chain performance to help identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners supporting proactive and prompt resolution of queries.
  • Highlight any exceptions / problems to the applicable member of the supply chain management team.
  • To assist in onboarding new suppliers, ensuring all applicable policy documents are completed.
  • To assist with the execution of the supply chain teams CSR responsibilities.
  • Assistance and gathering of product data for code creation.
  • Support with product and technical enquiries as and when required.
  • Delivery query / discrepancy resolution.
  • Invoice query resolution.
  • Completion of the assigned tasks given and other reasonable management requests.
